The work of checking the electronic voting machines to be used in the Erode East Constituency By-Election has been started. The Erode East Constituency By-Election is going to be held on 27th of next month. As the political field is heating up, the work of recording sample votes and checking the electronic voting machines to be used in the by-election has started today in the presence of the District Collector and District Election Officers of all parties. Representatives registered sample votes and checked the machines in this block there are total 230 polling booths for which 500 electronic voting machines have been installed and out of these 25 machines sample votes were registered and verification work was done.
